Subject to the service limitations outlined herein, Emergencyjet extends medical, legal, and specialized services to any Member journeying 150 miles or more from their Residence Address, as defined in this document. The Member's Residence Address is their current home address on record with Emergencyjet, established during enrollment unless subsequently modified by the Member. The Member's Home Country corresponds to the country of their Residence Address. Any changes to the Residence Address during the membership term must be promptly communicated to Emergencyjet by phone before the initial trip departure. Travel assistance information is accessible before departure or during the trip.
If a hospitalized EmergencyjetHorizon Member (under age 75) is an inpatient due to illness or injury within 150 miles of their Residence Address, and both the attending physician and Emergencyjet physician agree that necessary medical treatment is unavailable at the current facility, Emergencyjet will coordinate medical transport. This transport will be to the Member's chosen specialty hospital in their Home Country, provided the facility is over 150 miles from their Residence Address and an admitting physician at the specialty hospital accepts the EmergencyjetHorizon Member as an inpatient.
The completion of the Foreign National Membership Application is required annually. Only the application form provided by Emergencyjet will be considered for acceptance. The approval of Foreign National Memberships is at the sole discretion of Emergencyjet and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Factors considered include the prospective Member's Home Country, international travel destinations, and Emergencyjet's capacity and willingness to extend membership benefits in those specific countries.
A Member residing, traveling, or staying continuously outside their Home Country for more than 90 consecutive days is ineligible for membership services under a Foreign National Membership. Extended Stay (Foreign National Expat) Memberships are offered as an alternative. For further details on Foreign National Expat Memberships, please get in touch with Emergencyjet.
